Alginate

Devised from 3 simple ingredients.

The important factors in creating this material rely on; the manner in which the ingredients are combined, the texture and type of mold used, and the way the material loses its water content.

Activated Charcoal

An experimentation inspired by the plastic-rubber soles of shoes. Using natural ingredients, heat and a hint of Dr. Bronner's Castille soap, this sample- when cooked in different ways and through the use of different mold- can be reminiscent of other materials as well as rubber, such as latex or alternatively, even asphalt.
